We would love to claim that we’ve been fans of American duo Phantogram since the beginning, but that might be bending the truth just a touch. We first stumbled their genre-breaking music last year from a recommendation of a friend. Since then, the band hasn’t been able to break out like we would have thought and hoped they would. Well, that is until now.

In February, their music was featured in MTV’s edgy and controversial new show “Skins”. Also, Phantogram made their live TV debut on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. They even got Roots drummer Questlove to play with them during the performance of “Mouthful of Diamonds”. You can watch it here.

Phantogram will also be playing at this year’s Coachella Festival. If you’re going, make sure you don’t miss them! Until then, check out their new video for their amazing song “When I’m Small”. Fingers crossed that this is only the beginning of even more success for these two.

Japan’s latest pop star is a virtual character, Hatsune Miku. We’re not even kidding but boy do we wish we were. Enjoy a video of the pop star in concert:

A bunch of people have been trying to figure out the name of the song with the accordion in the middle of it, and what would we be good for if we didn’t help you out? The song’s name is Stereo Love, and it’s so catchy you’ll be cursing us in a few days when you can’t get it out of your head.

Justin here. Today I have a treat for you guys, a group called Hope Atlantic. This is a new band and I’m actually friends with the bassist (who doesn’t know I’m writing this yet, think he’ll be surprised?).

So what’s the deal with Hope Atlantic? Well if you’ll be patient I’ll tell you. Okay are you ready? Here it is:

But what if I don’t want to tell you more? What if I don’t want to say that their sound is clean and professional? What if I don’t want to mention that if you love Death Cab For Cutie you’ll love Hope Atlantic? What if I couldn’t be bothered to write about how chill, relaxed, and emotional the sound and lyrics are?

I mean, come on. Just because this band encapsulates everything we love about music doesn’t mean I have to…oh, damn.
