As many of you will know, Daft Punk is doing the soundtrack to Tron Legacy. This is big news to fans of Daft because they haven’t put out an album with brand new material in forever (5 years, for those counting).

When a series of songs supposedly from Tron hit the internet a few weeks ago a lot of people naturally got very excited. The music sounded exactly like Daft Punk and all the songs are amazing. Hit the video below to see what we mean.

And we’re back! We missed you guys, really we did. To make up for our absence, we’re coming back with a bang.

“Watercolour” by Pendulum has been kicking our butts ever since we picked up their newest CD Immersion. Check out the music video below, and make sure your speakers are cranked!

Röyksopp is probably the most famous band you haven’t heard of; at least if you’re on the state-side of the pond.

They have a huge following in Europe, and songs like ‘Only This Moment’ are the reason for that. It’s such a beautiful and calming song.

‘Flat Beat’ has one of the best music videos ever. Actually, the best way to experience this song is to watch it.

Absolutely ridiculous.

Anyway, if you’re a techno fan, you need to know this song. It’s a classic!

Mauro Picotto mashes up his unique synthesized sound with the lyrical melody from ‘Sweet Lullaby’ by Deep Forest. The result is this classic trance song.

Ps: if you’re a fan of the song, make sure you check out Picotto’s ‘P.H.A.T.T.’ and ‘Megavoices Claxixx’ Mixes of Komodo.

Finally, we get some new Gorillaz music! ‘Plastic Beach’ came out this week and we haven’t stopped listening to it since we picked it up. We can say from experience that the more you listen to the album, the more you’ll love it.

‘Plastic Beach’ is a deep album, with guest appearances from artists such as Snoop Dogg and the legendary Bobby Womack.
This is a great CD, grab it while it’s hot!

Highlights: Rhinestone Eyes, Stylo, Empire Ants, On Melancholy Hill

Oh Moby. How we love you. You see, Moby’s music is so good, even his b-sides make it on to this site.

‘Bed’ is an impressive ambient track, perfect for those days after work/school where you just want to lie down and put life on pause for a couple of minutes.

Massive Attack truly are masters at making music you just want to sit down and chill out to. This is your chance to jump on the bandwagon if you don’t already listen to them.

PS: 1200 bonus points to you if you recognize which TV show uses ‘Teardrop’ as a theme.

This one’s a no-brainer. ‘Ghosts N’ Stuff’ can be credited for single-handedly launching Deadmau5 into the mainstream music scene.

While you’re at it, make sure you check out more music from Deadmau5. We love him!

A modern-day club anthem, Pjanoo is an amazing song. This song comes with a warning though. It will get stuck in your head, and it won’t come out for a very long time.

PS: make sure you grab the Club Mix version, not the Radio Edit. The Club Mix has over four more minutes of music than the Radio Edit for the same price.
