For those of you who enjoy metal, you obviously know how legendary Pantera is. But for anyone else who wanted to get into the band but didn’t know where to start, this is it.

‘The Great Southern Trendkill’ has two distinct parts to the song: a thrash-heavy first half followed by almost two minutes of guitar-solo heaven. Hell yeah.

Oh boy. Once you hear the main riff of ’96 Quite Bitter Beings’ you will never get it out of your head. Ever.

You’ll be remembering this one for a very long time, folks!

If this is your first time hearing about Razorlight, then you need to check out ‘In the Morning’. It’s an upbeat indie-rock song that hooks you with the opening guitar riff.

Make sure you support these up-and-comers!

Oh Moby. How we love you. You see, Moby’s music is so good, even his b-sides make it on to this site.

‘Bed’ is an impressive ambient track, perfect for those days after work/school where you just want to lie down and put life on pause for a couple of minutes.

At 11 minutes and 11 seconds, ‘Rosetta Stoned’ is one trip of a song; but hey, isn’t that the kind of thing that Tool is known for?
There’s just so much in this song to love – it’ll take you a long time to get bored of it.

PS: Currently, Amazon.com only sells Tool songs on CD, not individually.

Massive Attack truly are masters at making music you just want to sit down and chill out to. This is your chance to jump on the bandwagon if you don’t already listen to them.

PS: 1200 bonus points to you if you recognize which TV show uses ‘Teardrop’ as a theme.

‘I’ve Been Sober’ is by far the best song off of DevilDriver’s latest CD ‘Pray for Villains’. We’re not saying that the CD doesn’t deliver – this song is just that good.

… and come on, that outro is one of the best things we’ve heard all year. Excuse us while we go listen to it and drool some more.

As cliché as it sounds, when we first heard Erik Mongrain’s music we were blown away. Not only is he a acoustic guitar virtuoso, but he plays the thing in his lap with the strings facing up. Unreal.

‘AirTap!’ is a beautiful instrumental song which also started our rather unhealthy Mongrain obsession. This is musicianship at its finest.

We’re going to blow your mind right now.

Simple Man > Free Bird

There, we said it! And we have no regrets.

If this is the first time you’ve heard of Threat Signal, stop reading this sentence and go give this song a listen right now. It’s ok, we’ll wait.

Amazing, no? You’re welcome for just finding you your new favourite band.
