Most of the time when people take five minutes out of your life they waste it. Not today. This time we’ve got something so good…well, the top ranked Youtube comment for this video says it all:

Who stole God’s iPod?

I’m afraid that in the hype of Kanye’s new album many people overlooked MCR’s latest which came out on November 19, 2010. We haven’t listened to more than snippets of Kanye’s album yet but we have listened to the new MCR.

Oh my god is it good.

We love the progression that MCR has made as a band. They started off rather emo but once “Helena” caught on they modified their sound to fit more of a mass appeal and as such their next album, The Black Parade, was more rock based.

So what is Danger Days like? Well, it has even more rock and the sound is fine tuned to a ridiculous degree. You know right from the very instant you start listening that the album is going to be good, and it does not disappoint.

Go get it. The mp3 download is $3.99 so there is zero excuse for rock fans to not add it to their collection. For those of you who are fans of CDs here is the link to the CD release.

You didn’t think we’d let something as epic as Kanye’s new album go unmentioned did you?

It’s time for a confession! No, not that kind of confession, we’re not getting locked up or anything (’cause we’re the good ones). Our confession isn’t court ordered, nor is it recommend by a psychologist.

Actually this confession is about music which really makes it not a good confession at all. I mean, what would make a good music confession? It’s not like we’re about to say, “One of us is dating Hilary Duff.” Besides she is married, a fact which makes us incredibly sad inside. Why Hilary? Why?

Back to our confession, the only way it could be worse is if we said, “We ate oatmeal with blueberries for breakfast today.” Come to think about it, it’ll be best if we scratch this whole confession idea – it’s really not much of a confession at all.

We’ll simply tell you that The Fellowship of the Ring soundtrack is one of our most listened to CDs ever. It’s a brilliant work and we cannot recommend it enough.

Justin here, a few months ago I had just put the wraps on my master’s degree and was sitting on a plane headed from Melbourne to Vancouver. Truth be told I was pretty bummed out. I’d spent a year overseas and while I wanted to get back to Canada I also wanted to keep the adventure going.

I tried watching a movie to cheer myself up but wasn’t interested in anything listed in the in-flight entertainment device. Switching beats I flipped to the music and randomly picked an artist on the list. The artist I picked was Dane Rumble.

I read the description of the CD I was about to listen to, which stated that it was a collection of anthem songs. “Well this is just the pick-up I need,” I thought. I pushed play and was instantly was treated to the nice, upbeat sound that is “Always Be Here.”

As I relaxed and let myself float away, I realized that I did feel a little better. That’s +1 for music.

We’ve been fans of Evanescence since their debut album Fallen came out in 2003. Why? We really wish you’d stop asking that question, this is BestMusicEver.net after all.

The thing that makes the Fallen so great is that every song on the album is a treat to listen to. Before writing this up we listened to the album for the first time in a year or so, here are some of our comments:

“Wow, this is a really great song!”
“Do you remember when this one came out? I listened to it so many times.”
“I love this song too.”
“Bro is there seriously a bad song on this album?”
“I can’t believe this, I LOVE every song on this album. We have to recommend the entire thing.”

Apparently we’re not the only ones who thought it was great. The album hit seven times platinum in 2008 – that’s over 7,000,000 CDs being shipped in the US alone. Absolutely crazy. The album is truly amazing so click on the picture and pick it up today if you don’t already have it in your collection.

Have a great Monday!
